The British Horse Society is the nation’s largest equine charity with a passion for horses that is backed by knowledge and expertise. The BHS represents and provides a range of services for horse riders, horse owners, enthusiasts and professionals.
Location: Our Scottish Hub is at Stirling, and we’re typically working from there 2-3days a week with flexibility to work remotely. You’re also welcome to work in the office more frequently.
Hours: Our usual full-time hours are 35 a week – with an early finish on a Friday! For this role it would be beneficial to have a flexible attitude to evening, weekend working and overnight stays.

This full time permanent role is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to defend, increase and promote our off road riding and carriage driving and educate all about responsible behaviour

Requirements:
What you’ll be doing:
Working with other stakeholders to improve off road riding and multi-use access
Helping horse riders and carriage drivers find safe places to go
Educating equestrians in the Scottish Outdoor Access Code and responsible riding and driving
Responding the queries, advising on planning matters and keeping a record of cases
Being the “go To” person for equestrian access queries

You will never be bored – no two days are the same in this role
