The British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) is recognised as the official representative body of the equestrian trade by Government and leading riding organisations. With over 800 member companies, BETA encompasses a wide range of sectors, including retailers, wholesalers, manufacturers, agents, dealers, and service-based businesses. All members share a common involvement in equestrianism. BETA is dedicated to supporting and promoting the interests of its members within the equestrian industry. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Administrative Assistant located near Wetherby. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support, including handling phone calls, managing communications, dealing with member queries and processing member related benefit schemes and performing clerical tasks. The role also involves assisting with promotional campaigns and events and supporting other staff. Qualifications and Qualities Excellent Communication skills both written and verbal. An eye for detail, organised and methodical Ability to work independently and proactively whilst working as part of a small team Experience in the equestrian industry is a plus Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field “The British Equestrian Trade Association works to support our members in their efforts to achieve the highest level of repute, knowledge and profitability”.
