Counter Sales Position - Retail Agricultural / Equine & Pet Store

We are looking for a highly motivated person with drive and a passion for sales who can add value to our business. We are a fast growing and independently owned agricultural merchant, specialising in livestock farming, equine and pet products. We also specialise in livestock management equipment and grassland management, as well as a wide range of agricultural products, including animal health, dairy hygiene, clothing, footwear, feed, nutrition and timber fending. Experience in sales would be an advantage, but full training is provided. You will be required to work alternate Saturdays, 9am - 1pm. Some travel is required to agricultural events across the UK and this occasionally requires an overnight stay with all expenses paid. Highly motivated, ability to work alone or as part of a team, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, good customer service skills, with an ability to help drive sales promotions and deliver results in a sales driven business are all essential. Responsibilities • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and product selections. • Utilise strong communication skills to explain product benefits and nutritional information for pets, equine and general livestock. • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently. • Maintain a clean and organised sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed. • Engage with customers to enhance their shopping experience. • Stay informed about the latest agricultural, equine and pet care products to better assist customers.
