We are looking for an enthusiastic, thorough and determined Ecommerce assistant to join our fast paced and friendly office team.
This role is key within our online business. The role involves the setting up of items in our retail platform (using spreadsheets of data including barcodes, SKU’s etc) creating engaging product descriptions, editing product images, and ensuring the pages are easy to navigate. This role is critical part of the consumer’s journey and will also help to create product related blogs, optimise the website using SEO and take ownership of implementing the marketing plan on certain areas of the website. Key Skills : Analytical and thorough working standards Self-driven and time-conscious qualities Written and typing skills Image editing skills Equine experience/product knowledge (preferred) Job Roles : Setup of products on our retail channels including our website & eBay Administration of product data including monitoring of competitiveness Writing blog posts and other content ready for online use Updating products to keep information up to date and the best it can be Managing site images to keep in line with the marketing plan Liaising with suppliers to gather product data. Working closely with the wider marketing team to help drive Ecommerce sales
As the role requires an amount of product knowledge, this job would suit someone with horses or with previous equine experience. We are looking for someone who would like to work in a busy and expanding business with opportunities for growth. This role will suit someone who likes to get their teeth into something and see their work make a difference. You will be working in an office environment in a rural location with a team to complete daily duties, including small and large tasks.
Hours of work The role will be 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
