LeMieux has an exciting opportunity for an Events Management Specialist looking for a new challenge in a fast-growing global equestrian company. Join our Marketing team as our Events Specialist. We have an ambitious vision and are looking to add to our 150-strong global team to achieve it. You’ll be working alongside our Marketing and Creative teams to achieve world class events and ultimately, help make LeMieux the most exciting equestrian brand on the planet.The Events Specialist will create and deliver the strategy and schedule for equine events marketing, whilst ensuring LeMieux is well-represented at key events that we partner with, sponsor and sell at in the UK and internationally. Key responsibilities:Manage the equestrian events programme, ensuring the brand is front of mind for customers in our key UK and international marketsCollaborate with the wider marketing team (social media, campaigns, VM and more) to ensure integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns align with and promote event activity (including rider and influencer attendance and collaboration, plus retail experience) to enhance and improve engagement, content generation and drive sales via eventsManage two direct reports across retail experience and events marketingLead LeMieux’s strategy for sponsorship of events/classes and work with partnering event management agencies to explore and identify opportunities that ensure the LeMieux brand is well representedManage trade stand and retail space bookings and administration Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business, from Sales to Product, to ensure correct and relevant stock is available within our retail stand and via Trade partners at key events and showsManage and work in partnership with our 3rd party Trade vendor to deliver retail experiences at events and shows, including ensuring staffingWork in partnership with the product team to ensure the appropriate product ranges and/or new product launches are available and well-represented at events with relevant promotional product (i.e. competitor goody bags/prizes etc.) Work with Graphic Designers, Creatives and Visual Merchandisers to ensure branding at events – including the retail experience – and marketing collateral aligns with brand guidelines (banners, boarding, event POS, etc) Liaise closely with B2B trade accounts and sales reps to ensure our B2B customer event activity is represented in the marketing calendar and our customers are informed and up to datePrepare and monitor the events budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wiselyWeekend work will be required in order to attend and represent the brand at a variety of equestrian events throughout the year, including on an international basis on occasionReport on performance, providing analysis and suggesting improvements on all events, retail spaces and associated activitiesBuild internal partnerships and work effectively across multiple teams and sites The successful candidate will have the following attributes:Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, fashion or other related subject ideallyA minimum of 3 years’ events experience and ideally with, but not limited to equestrian, fashion or active sportwear industriesBe a keen equestrian or equestrian fan, ideally with a competitive background with a good knowledge of the UK and international equestrian calendar would be advantageous A creative thinker, proactively suggesting opportunities for improvementPeople leader experience is preferable but not essentialBrilliant interpersonal, communication and organisational skills and the ability to work independently and to manage a complex and varied workloadThe ability to work in a fast-moving environment that is constantly growing, evolving and innovatingAbout usLeMieux’s committed global trade and distribution network, vibrant customer and rider community, unrivalled technical expertise and specialist colour flair have made our rapid growth possible.
