Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Equine Nutritionist to join our team. This flexible role can be tailored to part-time or full-time hours, offering the right candidate an opportunity to combine scientific expertise with practical support for veterinary practices, trainers, and horse owners. You will contribute to both product development and client-facing support, helping Hestevard continue to set the standard in equine nutrition.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert nutrition advice to vets, trainers, and clients on equine health, performance, and wellbeing.
Support the design, evaluation, and refinement of the Hestevard supplement range.
Deliver training sessions, workshops, and technical materials both internally and externally
Collaborate with the commercial and marketing teams to provide technical input into campaigns & events
Keep up to date with scientific research, ensuring all advice and product information is evidence-based
Skills & Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience in Equine Nutrition
Experience in product development and regulatory issues
Strong understanding of equine physiology, feeding management, and supplement formulation.
Experience in equine nutrition consultancy, veterinary practice support, or performance horse management.
Excellent communication and presentation skills; confident in translating science into practical advice.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply research findings to practical solutions.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
