Equine & Pet Retail Sales Supervisor

Full time Retail Supervisor (Equestrian & Pet Care Specialist) - job share may be considered for the right applicants. We are seeking a friendly, customer focused individual to join our busy country store team. The ideal candidate will ideally have a passion for horses, pets, the outdoor and will possess strong organisational and communication skills within the retail and customer service sector. This is a hands on role with plenty of variety including: • Serving and advising customers • Store upkeep • Ordering and stock management • Website order fulfillment • Social media support • Lifting feed bags up to 25kg • Making local deliveries to our customers in our delivery van. The successful candidate will: • Be able to provide exceptional customer service with a friendly outlook. • Have equestrian and pet based knowledge. • Have and maintain a good work ethic and positive attitude. • Be confident with sales tills, stock replenishment, and retail display. • Be willing to work as part of a friendly team. • Be familiar with basic Microsoft applications. • Be able and willing to lift heavy items of around 25kg. • Be over 21 and possess a full driving license. • Be able to work weekends on a rota basis. • Have knowledge regarding safety equipment fitting of Riding Hats and Body Protectors. (Knowledge in this area is advantageous, although training will be provided).
