We are looking for temporary part time Equine Welfare Assistants to work weekends, Saturday and Sunday 15 hours per week for 12 months.
Spread across five specialist yards, our Equine Welfare Assistants ensure that every equine in our care is handled with care and compassion, has access to clean water, feed and suitable shelter. The ideal candidate
We are looking for candidates with the following:
a minimum of a level 2 qualification in equine studies
at least 1 years previous experience of working with equines
good communication skills and works well as part of a team
sound knowledge of equine care and health needs
demonstrable handling skills with a good health and safety awareness
a good level of fitness due to the physically demanding nature of the role
