The Role We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Grounds & Landscaping Operative to join our team. This is a varied, hands-on role that requires both a passion for outdoor maintenance and flexibility to assist with warehouse operations when needed. Your responsibilities will include: • Grounds and landscaping maintenance to a high professional standard: mowing, sweeping, weeding, pruning, spraying, and grass cutting (including small tractor use). • Applying knowledge of plants, lawns, flowers, and landscaping to keep the site in excellent condition. • Ensuring all gardening and landscaping work is delivered neatly, efficiently, and safely. • General upkeep: maintaining skips, cleaning and caring for grounds equipment. • Assisting with site maintenance and ad-hoc duties. • Supporting the warehouse team with operational tasks when required. About You We’re looking for someone with the right mix of skills, knowledge, and positive energy: • Previous experience in grounds maintenance, gardening or landscaping (essential). • Knowledge of plants, grass care, flowers, and landscaping techniques. • Ability to deliver work to a consistently high standard of presentation and quality. • Excellent organisational and time-management skills. • Attention to detail and pride in your work. • Strong team player with good communication skills. • Flexible and adaptable approach with a positive, can-do attitude. • Full UK driving licence (essential, for grounds equipment and small tractor use).
