We are currently seeking an experienced Marketing Campaigns Lead to join our creative & vibrant Marketing team, based in our offices at the racecourse in Ascot. As the Marketing Campaigns Lead, you will manage the team responsible for planning and deploying a variety of marketing campaigns to support all facets of the business. From driving ticket and experience sales for world class racing events including the renowned Royal Ascot meeting, to driving venue hire for private events this role has a bit of everything. You will be analytical and creative in equal measure and will have experience of media planning, creative development, digital platform management,insights & analytics. Ideally you will have a consumer marketing background,even better if it's from selling events & experiences but most important is a passion for creating engaging & effective consumer communications. What you'll be doing • Leading the development of all aspects of key marketing campaigns for Ascot, both as a Racecourse & a commercial venue • Line manage a team of 5 Marketing Managers and Executives, supporting their development & ensuring the quality of their output • Develop a clear strategy for campaigns that maximise both awareness & conversion for our key products • Work with the Head of Marketing to set clear objectives and targeting for all campaigns • Lead a multiple agency network delivering media planning and buying, creative, PR and insights owning the high-level relationship and contract with each agency • For selected key campaigns (e.g. Royal Ascot), manage both the development and delivery of the end-to-end activity • Lead on the collation and reporting of key KPIs for all campaigns both to share with the team and senior business stakeholder on a periodic basis • Ensure relevant and necessary commercial and consumer insights are sought to advise on both strategy and execution of campaigns • Work alongside the Brand & Creative Lead to ensure collaborative and coherent working between the teams • As a senior member of the Marketing Department, proactively support the brand management efforts to ensure all usage of the Ascot brands is adheres to guidelines • Be responsible for all campaign budgets, liaising with the Finance department to ensure all costs are tracked and accurately recorded on a monthly basis and all financial protocol is followed by the team • Work closely with the Head of Marketing and Brand & Creative Lead to support the ongoing strategic development of the Marketing Department Skills and experience req. • Previous proven experience working in a senior consumer marketing role • Exceptional communication skills both within the team environment and to senior stakeholders • Ability to cope with high pace environments • Strong commercial acumen & budget management capability • Experience using workflow management tools and able to manage rolling plans • A keen interest in consumer brands, keeping up with current trends and always looking for the what else? • A rounded knowledge of the media market, understanding key trends & insights across all digital & ATL channels • Working knowledge & interest in horse racing or sport is desirable but not essential What you can expect. • A best-in-class welcome with a tailored induction and racecourse tour, as well as a wide range of training schemes to help with your learning and development • Discretionary annual bonus (based on Company and individual performance) • Pension Scheme • Access to a range of wellbeing support for yourself and your family including a dedicated Employee Assistance Programme and Healthcare support app with 24/7 virtual GP access • Opportunity to make an impact in our Volunteer week with a day out of the office to support local community & charity partners • End of year offices closed (extra 2 days annual leave added to your entitlement) • Time Off in Lieu (toil) for working weekend race days • Clothing and hat hire • Complimentary race day entry for friends and family • Exclusive discounts
