Marketing Manager

As our Marketing Manager you will work closely with the directors to communicate both who we are and what we do to the outside world and join us on our expansion journey. This multifaceted role demands a unique combination of self motivation, creativity, enthusiasm, analytical skills, and strategic thinking, covering both marketing strategies and the management of our events. This role is perfect for an individual who is passionate about horses and is keen to make a significant contribution to our company's success. You will be joining a small, dynamic and supportive family run company that will provide you with the freedom to learn, grow and test new ideas. You will have the opportunity to develop your skillset and explore new methods of marketing. You will be working across both of our brands, EQUIDRY & Drywalks so you’ll need to take initiative, be organised and have excellent communication skills. You will take responsibility for designing and running marketing campaigns, developing company websites, organising events and maintaining a social media presence across all platforms. Key Responsibilities • Marketing Strategy: Development: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans and strategies aligned with EQUIDRY’s & Drywalks business objectives. • Market Research: Conduct continuous market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitors' activities. • Product Promotion: Create and manage marketing campaigns to promote EQUIDRY & Drywalks products, emphasising their unique features and benefits. • Product Launch: Deliver world-class product launches, develop differentiated product narratives and translate values and benefits of new products & features into customer-facing messaging and product launches. • Brand Management: Maintain and enhance the EQUIDRY & Drywalks brand identities, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials. • Digital Marketing: Be responsible for generating all of our online marketing, including website management, SEO, Google, Amazon, email marketing, social media marketing, and paid advertising. • Content Creation: Create high quality, visually appealing, engaging and informative content that resonates with the target audiences, showcasing the unique offerings of each brand. • Public Relations: Cultivate relationships with our customers, industry influencers, professionals, event organisers, trade customers, and media outlets to secure positive press coverage. • Event Planning: Organise and participate in industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to showcase EQUIDRY & Drywalks products, build relationships with our customers and network with potential clients. • Wholesale Marketing: Build promotional plans with our wholesale customers, tailoring solutions to meet their specific requirements, developing and implementing the strategy for POS materials, product displays, merchandising, and promotional materials throughout the wholesale network. • Marketing Analytics: Utilise data analytics tools to track and analyse marketing performance metrics, making data-driven adjustments to strategies. • Budget Management: Create and manage the marketing budget, optimising resource allocation. • Lead Generation: Develop and execute lead generation strategies to identify and nurture potential customers. • Sales Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the BDM to align marketing efforts with sales goals and provide necessary tools and materials. • Customer Engagement: Implement strategies to engage existing customers, including loyalty programs, newsletters, and surveys. • Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitors' activities and market trends to identify opportunities and threats. • Team Leadership: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to team members. • Compliance: Ensure marketing activities adhere to relevant laws and regulations. • Reporting: Regularly report to the directors on marketing performance and provide insights and recommendations. • Customer Feedback: Gather and analyse customer feedback to improve products, services, and marketing campaigns. • Innovation: Stay updated with emerging marketing trends, tools, and technologies to identify opportunities for innovation. • Team Building: Provide support to the greater team on various tasks as required, aiding the broader team effort. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (Master's degree preferred). • Proven experience as a Marketing Manager in a related industry with a strong understanding of digital marketing channels and techniques, including SEO/SEM, content marketing, email marketing, social media, and analytics. • Proven experience in B2B marketing. • Strong copywriting and photography skills. • Strong analytical, leadership, and project management skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Creative thinking and a passion for innovation. • Ability to inspire and develop our small team.
