About Us:
Our practice is dedicated to delivering exceptional, proactive veterinary care to equine clients across Cheshire, North Shropshire and Wrexham. Our practice primarily focusses on high level racehorses and sport horses.
The Role:
As our Office Manager, you will be the central point of coordination for the day-to-day running of the practice. You’ll support the veterinary team, manage administrative processes, and ensure our clients receive a warm, professional experience at every interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the daily operations of the practice office
• Manage client communication and appointment scheduling
• Support billing, invoicing, and payment processing
• Coordinate with vets on-call and manage rota scheduling
• Handle stock control, supplier orders, and inventory management
• Maintain compliance with health & safety and industry regulations
Requirements:
• Proven experience in a similar administrative or office management role (experience in veterinary or equine industries is a plus)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organised with attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and veterinary practice software (or quick to learn)
• Able to work independently, multitask, and problem-solve
• A genuine interest in the equine world
