Office/Showroom Assistant

We’re looking for a dynamic Office /showroom Assistant to join Equiport - one of the UK’s leading equestrian retailers and proud runners-up in the Online Retail category at the British Equestrian Trade Awards 2025. For over 30 years, Equiport has been home to luxury equestrian brands, including Samshield, Cavalleria Toscana, and Kentucky Horsewear, alongside our own bespoke horsewear range. Working across both online and in-store retail, you’ll help us to promote the ultimate equestrian shopping experience. This is a hands-on, role where no two days are the same. You’ll making Equiport the go-to destination for riders who love style, quality and individuality. You will be an equine enthusiast, with plenty of background knowledge and experience to bring to the role, although training and information will be provided on our current and new products. Key responsibilities: • Communication and customer service • Provide customer support through various channels, including email, and phone. • Answer inquiries, handle complaints, and provide product/service information. • Collaborate with team members and managers • Picking, packing and despatching web orders • Arranging and receiving courier deliveries • Checking off deliveries to ensure all items are correct • Restocking, rotating and barcoding stock • Answering customer queries and providing advice on products in person and over the phone • Processing orders and handling payments • Assisting with day-to-day office administration • Updating the database and maintaining customer records Why you’ll love it here: • A fun, creative environment where your ideas are valued. • Work with premium global equestrian brands and bespoke luxury products. • Opportunity to develop your skills, grow within the company and make the role your own. • Be part of a friendly, passionate team who share your love of horses and style. • Full training will be provided, but we are looking for someone with a can-do attitude who can hit the ground running and be a valuable member of our team from day one. Good knowledge of the equine industry and products would be ideal as you will have to draw on your experience in order to give out the best advice possible, although training will be provided on our current products. Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm, rotating Saturdays approx 1 or 2 per month (day off during the week in lieu) Job Type: Full-time Pay: £24,500.00-£27,500.00 per year Experience: • Equestrian : 2 years (required) • Retail sales: 1 year (preferred) Hours: Full Time.
