Houghton Country - Retail Back Office Administrator/ Equestrian
Join our growing Equestrian retail business as a Retail Back Office Administrator.
We are one of the largest equestrian retailers in the country, operating in-store and online and have the largest retail show unit, attending all the UK's major equestrian events, which many of our team attend.
We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused individual to support daily stock and office administration, with opportunities to get involved in shop floor sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Upload and manage product data on the EPoS system.
Excellent telephone manner.
Assist with in-store customer service during busy periods.
Process sales and manage stock deliveries, admin.
Maintain accurate stock levels and liaise with suppliers/accounts.
Process and manage faulty returns credits with suppliers.
Support online department operations.
Essential Skills:
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Good Equestrian knowledge
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Self-motivated, team player with a proactive attitude.
Comfortable with basic IT and admin tasks.
Desired:
Retail or fashion sales experience.
Good office skills.
Familiarity with EPoS systems and customer service excellence.
Good Equestrian Knowledge.
Past retail experience but not essential.

Pay - £25,000-£28,000
