Retail Sales Manager

We are looking for a shop floor manager to lead an experienced team. This is an amazing opportunity to work within one of the leading country and equestrian stores in the UK, based in Ingatestone catering for all things horse and rider. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for retail, and the ability to create an engaging shopping experience for our customers. Horse knowledge an advantage. Responsibilities: • Supervise and manage daily store operations to ensure efficiency and productivity. • Lead, motivate, and develop a positive team culture, overseeing teams involved in merchandising, stock control, social media and promotions. • Communicate effectively with team members and customers to foster a positive shopping environment. • Implement sales management strategies to enhance store performance and drive revenue growth. • Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, and merchandising. • Maintain high standards of visual merchandising in line with company guidelines. • Handle administrative tasks • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies About you: • You will be passionate about retail and providing excellent customer service • Horse knowledge an advantage but be eager to learn • Considerable amount of experience in retail or a similar role • Punctual, reliable and be flexible • A friendly, positive and enthusiastic, career focused attitude • Ideally to have proven sales skills in a customer driven environment • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
