Comley Racing Ltd is seeking a full time rider/groom to join our progressive national hunt yard. The successful applicant will ride a variety of horses daily, contributing to their fitness and development, and play an important role within a dedicated and ambitious team. The ideal candidate would be able to start beginning of July.
Key Responsibilities
• Riding out 3-4 lots per day to a high standard
• Mucking out and assisting with general yard duties as required
• Providing accurate feedback on each horses work and progression
• Handling fit, young and experienced racehorses confidently
• Supporting the smooth running of the yard and race day operations
Requirements:
• Strong competent rider with previous racing or performance horse experience
• Good communication skills and a positive, reliable attitude
• Ability to work well within a team
• Understanding of racing yards routine and horse welfare
• Eligibility to work in the UK
