Key Responsibilities

Building solid relationships, growing spend for current customers and proactively seeking out new business.
Strong focus on fencing sector, building our sales of domestic & agricultural fencing
Help to exceed branch Sales, Margins and Gross profit.
Be aware of local merchants and products to ensure we are competitive.
Respond positively and effectively to customer’s needs and ensure our customer's are looked after.
Agree the best possible margin when negotiating with customers
Deal with customer complaints effectively, pleasantly and in a timely manner.
Be vigilant and report any Health & Safety issues to the Line Manager immediately.


Required Experience & Skills

Previous sales experience with fencing & timber (essential)
Live within a commutable distance from SO32 2JR (Office based role)
Demonstrate a positive & friendly attitude
Is prepared to develop a knowledge of the company and products.
Someone who will promote and adhere to the company’s cultures, values and professionalism.
Good communication skills (both oral and written), confident and able to approach customers.
Ability to prioritise responsibilities under pressure and be self-motivated.
Confidence to call existing and prospective customers.
Full UK driving licence
Good IT Skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)


Hours of work are Monday to Friday 07.30am - 16.30pm and every 4th Saturday 08.00am - 12.00pm.
