Sales Manager

Trek-Trailers Bury St Edmunds, part of the prestigious Trek Group, are EastAnglias leading supplier of equestrian, commercial and leisure trailers and vehicles. Based just outside Bury St Edmunds, Trek Trailers is an established dealer of amongst others; the Equi Trek horse boxes and Brain James car trailers. We are seeking an experienced and motivated trailer and vehicle Salesperson to join our team at Trek Trailers. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling and promoting our range of trailers and vehicles, meeting sales targets, and providing exceptional customer service to all customers. Responsibilities: Promote and sell Trek Trailers' range of trailers and vehicles to customers Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and set KPIs Provide excellent customer service and after-sales support Ensure that customers are aware of all available financing options Maintain a detailed understanding of Trek Trailers' products and services Keep up to date with industry trends and competitor activity Foster strong relationships with customers to maximise repeat business Manage and maintain inventory levels within the dealership Attend and participate in all training sessions and sales meetings Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records Work in collaboration with other team members to manage leads and ensure the best possible customer experience Drive sales leads through the attendance of trade shows Requirements: At least two years of experience in sales or a closely related field Prior experience selling trailers or vehicles would be an advantage Experience of horses and the industry either through a previous role or hobby would be beneficial Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Outstanding customer service skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Good organisational and time-management skills Valid driver's license Benefits: £35000 basic salary increasing to £40000 upon 3 month review. 22 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays Up to five extra holidays through our Long Service Scheme Free onsite parking Company Pension Free access to Help@Hand which provides our employees with a range of free benefits including 24/7 unlimited remote GP appointments, physiotherapy sessions, unlimited mental health support, savings & discounts on everyday shopping and much more.
