We're looking for a Technical Account Manager to join our growing team. This is a crucial, client-facing role where you’ll be the main point of contact for veterinary professionals and end-users (horse owners), providing expert technical support and education on our products.
This role is ideal for someone who can combine their technical expertise with a detail-oriented, professional approach to support our rapidly expanding vet range.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Technical Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries, confidently answering questions from vets and horse owners.
Manage Key Accounts: Build and maintain strong relationships with veterinary practices, providing ongoing support and account administration.
Deliver Training & Presentations: Confidently present and train veterinary teams on our products. You'll learn from our senior nutritionists and experienced vets to become an expert in our range..
Drive Growth: Work closely with our technical team to support the continued growth of our veterinary range, taking initiative to identify new opportunities.
Travel: Visit veterinary practices across the UK to provide on-site support and training.
Who We're Looking For
Technical Expertise: You should be comfortable with veterinary, scientific, and equine terminology, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and confidently.
Excellent Communication: Outstanding people skills and a professional approach. You must be able to present technical information effectively to a variety of audiences.
Organised & Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage key accounts and administrative tasks efficiently.
Proactive Attitude: The ability to take initiative and work independently while also being a strong part of a wider team.
Equine Knowledge: A genuine love of horses and an interest in nutrition is a must.
Bonus Points: Familiarity with small animal care would be a significant advantage as our pet-focused product line grows.
This role would be perfect for a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN), recent veterinary graduate, or experienced veterinary administration staff who are familiar with life in a practice and understand how nutrition can support clinical cases.
