Weekend Equine Care Officer

£7.55-£12.21 per hour 6 months fixed term. Part time. Working every other weekend. 8am-4.30pm Sat-Sun (Night checks 8.30-9pm) The Equine Care Team are recruiting for an Equine Care Officer to work every other weekend on a rota basis, 34 hours per month. The successful candidate will have sufficient horse husbandry skills and experience to offer high standards of care to resident equines and will demonstrate an understanding of the specific needs of equines on a rehabilitation programme. An experienced equine handler with sound stable management skills with the ability to communicate and work supportively with work colleagues and the public. The charity is in a rural location hence not easily accessible by public transport, own transport is advisable
